Dogs have been part of Lynn’s life ever since she was a child. Now she has decided to turn her love of dogs into a profession allowing her to help people help their dogs.
Lynn notes, “There are so many positive and new ways to create a healthy, harmonious bond between owners and their dogs. I am excited to work with my clients to teach them ways to help their dogs become well mannered.”
She completed training programs at the Consultant/Instructor Training Academy in April of 2005 and the Canine Behavior Academy in August, 2005, at the Marin Humane Society, under the direction of Trish King. She is a certified CBA I.
In addition to private training, Lynn holds classes at Guide Dogs for the Blind for Breeder Custodians, Foster Care Providers, and Career-change Adopters.
Once completing the Delta Society's Pet Partner course in 2006, Lynn organized a pet assisted therapy program at Alma Via, San Rafael, a retirement home and dementia center. Lynn is currently an instructor for the San Quentin Pen Pals Program, run by the Marin Humane Society.
Lynn is a member of APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers).
Lynn resides in San Rafael with Jim, her husband, her two sons, Matt and Brett and their two Black Labs Kahala and Ernie.
